We recently completed another job for Travis Perkins, this time in their newly renovated offices in Swindon. We were asked to provide a heating/cooling system to regulate their new workplace which included a breakout area, boardroom, Managing Director's office and PA's office. We supplied and installed a 14kW twin system to the large boardroom, two 7kW split systems to the breakout area and MD office, and a 3.5kW split system to the PA office. We fitted compact ceiling cassettes in the centre of each room to achieve a wider cooling range. The wind-free systems we installed effectively maintains a comfortable level of coolness without the unpleasant feeling of a cold draft - an issue for many employees. Some outdoor units were mounted at high level due to access issues below. We also fitted drip trays and condensate drains to stop any condensate icing on the path below in cold ambient temperatures.
